Becky Morgan



Professional Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour golfer from Wales.

Becky turned pro in August 2000 and has enjoyed a stellar career as she now competes in her 21st season on Tour. 

Having started playing golf at the age of 12 at her home course, Monmouth Golf Club, Morgan then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro on a golf scholarship, while also earning a degree in Geography. 

Morgan’s rookie seasons on either side of the Atlantic came in 200, after she earned tour cards on both the LET and LPGA.

The highlight of an exceptional career is undoubtedly winning the 2018 Hero Women’s Indian Open in New Delhi.

After 18 years based in the United States and primarily playing on the LPGA, Morgan moved back to live in the UK in 2019 to compete on the LET full time.

  • 18 top tens LPGA tour, including two runner up finishes.
  • 22 top ten finishes Ladies European Tour.
  • Represented Welsh team in the World Cup of Golf three times, finishing 3rd, 6th and 8th.
  • Made every cut in the 2020 season. 4 top 25 finishes in the 8 events played in 2020

 

Amateur

  • 10 collegiate wins in the USA
  • Represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Curtis Cup (1998,2000), Vagliano Trophy (1997,1999), Commonwealth Tournament (1998) and World Team Championships 1998.
  • Represented Wales at  junior, under 21 and senior level.
  • Runner up British Ladies Amateur Championships, British Ladies Strokeplay Championships and Welsh Amateur Championships
