It was a GDG first as we proudly hosted the Scarlets Community Foundation Golf Day at a familiar favourite, Machynys Peninsula Golf Club. With its award-winning Nicklaus Championship course, Machynys provided the perfect setting and a five-star experience for all, despite the strong winds testing every golfer.
The fan-favourite GDG Singles Open returned to a sun-soaked Grove Golf Club, a familiar and fitting home for some of our most iconic events. With several more occasions lined up at The Grove this summer, the venue once again proved why it’s a GDG favourite.
Llanishen Golf Club played host to the inaugural TW Group Charity Golf Day and delivered in every way. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Caerphilly Mountain, golfers enjoyed perfect weather and a packed course, all in support of Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
Our third Partner Network Day at the stunning Cottrell Park Golf Resort was another brilliant success. With 20 teams made up of businesses from within the Great Days Golf network, the day perfectly showcased the community and camaraderie that continues to grow around these events.

June 16th 2023 saw the first ever Great Days Golf Singles Open at The Grove Golf Club in Porthcawl. 92 golfers gathered to play 18 holes and compete for the now coveted ‘Gold’ Jacket and trophy with the day sponsored by Premium Partner RNA Plant Ltd and owner Neil Armstrong.
