The first GDG Partner Network Golf Day teed off in style at the Vale Resort, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in Great Days Golf’s journey — bringing together businesses, friends, and teammates for a day of connection, conversation, and standout competition.
The sun was shining, the course was in prime condition, and a great atmosphere set the tone for what is shaping up to be a must-attend series of events on the golfing calendar.
The day began with a powerful and inspiring keynote talk from Andrew Jenkins, who shared his story of resilience, recovery, and advocacy for mental health following a life-changing accident. With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world, Andrew’s message struck a chord with everyone in the room.
Out on the course, GDG brought the energy, adding our signature twists to the golf action. From the biggest-ever Party Corner Putting Challenge to the brand-new Builder’s Bunker (complete with shovel!), the competition was fierce but full of laughs. These aren’t just golf days — they’re experiences.
Off the course, the pre-golf experience was elevated to new levels. With improved concourse branding, seamless registration, and plenty of space for handshakes and networking.
The winning team took home a luxury Welsh hamper, expertly curated by Cwmfarm Charcuterie and packed with the very best in Welsh food and drink — a prize fit for a champion, and a proud nod to our roots.
After golf, partners were treated to outstanding food before sitting down for a Dragons’ Den style Q&A featuring four of our Premium Partners — TW Group, Sealability, David Spear Commercial Vehicles, and Green Hat Consulting — who reflected on their GDG journey, the value of the network, and what lies ahead in 2025.
This opening Partner Network event raised the bar and laid the foundation for what's to come: genuine connection through golf, game-raising business conversations, and unforgettable experiences on and off the course.
