The Inaugural Great Days Golf Masters Finale event was held at Marriott St Pierre in April to coincide with the final round of the Masters 2022.
The two day event saw golfers from all over the country attend the St Pierre resort for two days of golf, an overnight stay and entertainment in the form of a gala prize giving and rugby and broadcasting legend Jonathan Jiffy Davies.
After a pairs competition on Day One on the Old Course, golfers were treated to a fabulous three course meal followed by some reminiscing and legendary stories from Jiffy himself. The event was in support of the ABF Soldiers Charity and Day One was summarised superbly by Charity representative Pete Davies who presented a heartfelt message and video clip on the charity. GDG and ABF partners Srixon provided an extensive range of prizes including golf bags, caps and towels and the donations from the charity made the prize display an eye catching proposition.
Of the 80 golfers who attended the event six were lady golfers and they proved difficult to beat with some ladies finishing in the top 3 of both the Pairs and Individual competitions on Day One. Day Two was a tricky affair due to a heavy night watching Scottie Scheffler win the 2022 Masters on the Big Screen in the St Pierre Suite, but everyone had a great time and contributed hugely to the raffle and auctions, which included tickets to the 150th Open.

The Masters Finale event has become Great Days Golf’s flagship event so be sure to book early for next year!
