Great Days Golf ‘s Sean Holley 4th Annual Charity Day a huge success

The 4th Annual Sean Holley Charity Golf Day held at the Grove Golf Club, Porthcawl on Friday 13th of August proved to be a tremendous success with all golfers, sponsors and GDG Partners. Raising funds for charities Velindre Cancer Centre and Tata CC Juniors, 88 golfers embarked on a shotgun start of 18 holes of competitive golf with plenty of fun along the way!

Nobody managed a big hole in one prize sponsored by Gallagher Insurance but the Beat The Captain Pirate hole, raising awareness of Disability Golf with Mike Jones was a big hit, as was the Beat The Pro with LPGA Golfer and Miss Wales finalist Hannah Bowen, sponsored by Cardiff Lock & Safe Company Limited.
MCL Environmental Services provided the sponsorship of exclusive GDG gift bags for every golfer and the ABF Soldiers Charity and Srixon provided prizes along with custom made Welsh slate trophies provided by Trophy Partners Valley Mill.

The Grove clubhouse looked a picture on a the day thanks to printing partners Golf Day Printing, brilliantly captured by Riley Sports Photography and media partners Buffoon Film & Media and Aspire 2Be.
A host of prizes and hole sponsorships were donated to make the day a very special one.

Congratulations go to the winning team supplied by Davey Coaches and to the individual winner Jonathan Sinclair with 41 Stableford points off a 19 handicap.
Both charities were in attendance and are most grateful for all the support they received.

Sean Holley commented “I can’t thank everyone enough for making the day such a big success. Both charities will benefit from the day in terms of funds and awareness. The biggest thing for me was seeing so many smiles on people’s faces after such a tough 18 months for everyone and these are reflected in the fabulous photographs. To all our sponsors, donators, golfers and staff a massive thank you! Everyone had a Great Days Golf”
