Dual code, Welsh Rugby and Great Britain Rugby League legend, Jonathan “Jiffy” Davies is looking forward to many great days ahead with the announcement today that he has agreed to become a Non Executive Director and shareholder in the highly ambitious company, Great Days Golf. Based in SA1, Swansea, but with golf resort partners across Europe the fast growing company is excited to be bringing Jonathan onboard and utilising his exceptional sports network globally, as well as helping him to lower his golf handicap.


The company which also boasts former Ospreys, Bristol and Wales rugby coach Sean Holley as a Director and shareholder has an opportunity it believes to provide golfers, golf clubs and resorts with a quite unique offering with its services. With remaining Directors, Simon Pridham, Richard Clayton and Mike Jones bringing a range of outstanding skills and networks to the company too, it promises to be a very exciting time for all involved. 

The extensive events, media and professional sporting experience offered by Director Sean Holley opens the doors for clients to a multidisciplinary and celebrity network that brings more than just golf. 

The business acumen acquired by fellow Director Simon Pridham in his working relationships with National Government, educational partners, learning technology and multi- national companies such as Apple, Google and Microsoft offers a level of knowledge in this ever changing technological world that is second to none. 

Director Richie Clayton, whose original brainchild was the Generation Golfer business, now brings his golfing brand partners, player and club liaison network to the new and exciting re-branded business that is Great Days Golf and the added value, Director and Disability Golf specialist Mike Jones brings to the company, is mind blowing. His amazing outlook on life, first class people skills and sheer inspiration brings a unique dimension. With corporate golf contacts worldwide, a principal role in the Cairns Cup and as an Ambassador to the Celtic Manor Resort, Mike completes the founders team of GDG. The mission of the company is to offer bespoke and unique events, to promote the best golfing offers around the UK’s clubs and resorts and to provide memorable golfing experiences for all throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
